This website is for teachers, assistants, students, and parents who want to educate young children, ages 3-8, in academically sound ways, involving the children directly in their own learning. It is also for those who enjoy using songs, poems, and stories to teach.
Teachers, assistants, and students will find keynote and workshop descriptions, activities, useful books and CDs, and links to others offering useful information and insights in early-childhood. A Learning Center Activities section offers new activities every month in different learning-center areas. The Teaching Web Archives section contains nearly two years of thematic-topic activities that were on the website from March 2002 through December 2005.
Parents can find information about books and CDs that build on what their children are doing in school or they can select activities for teaching their children at home.
