This half or full-day workshop is for Pre-K through First Grade teachers.
The brain loves songs, poems, stories and rhymes. We can fill children's heads with skills and concepts by using them when we teach. This keynote models for teachers how children are affected when songs, stories, and rhymes are used. Songs, stories and rhymes can be use right along with what teachers are doing in their classrooms now. Young children become more willing and active partners in learning when you get them out of their seats, on their feet, singing and moving and by getting them directly involved--hands on--with the activities they do.
