Write on sentence strips the song, Where, Oh Where, Has My Little Dog Gone? Use them in a pocket chart. The children put the song in order. Write the word "dog," "tail," and "ears" on small pieces of sentence strips. The children use them to match to the words in the song. For a change, use drawings or photographs instead of the words.
