Ant and Food Collage: Collect magazines with pictures of food, glue, and paper. Have the children make a collage with the pictures. When they have finished the collage and it has dried overnight, give the children bingo bottles filled with black tempera paint. Ask them to dab dots of black paint on the collage to make pretend ants.
