Apple puzzle: Use a large piece of red construction paper (18" x 24" is best). Cut out a large, apple silhouette. Cut it into as many pieces as your class can manage; encourage the children to put the puzzle together. If the children need the help, trace the apple puzzle pieces on a sheet of white paper; the children have the silhouettes to help them solve the puzzle.
