Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich: Discuss the characteristics of a sandwich. Provide a tray with 1 slice of bread for each child, medicine cups of peanut butter and jelly, paper plates, and plastic knives. Have the children discover how to make a "sandwich" from 1 slice of bread. They take one slice of bread and put it on their plate with a knife, jelly, and peanut butter. They have to figure it out for themselves!
