Tongue-Depressor Math: Use 20-30 tongue depressors, an orange-juice can (covered with foil) and a black marker. Write the numbers 1 through 10 on the first ten depressors; put the same number of dots on the next ten; write the words "one," "two," "three," and so on, on the last ten. Ask the children to match the number to the correct number of dots. You can also have the children match the number to the word (i.e., match "4" to "four," "10" to "ten," and so on).
