Vegetable Soup Recipe: Write the recipe ingredients on sentence strips; write the names of several other ingredients you did not put in the soup. The children find the ingredients used ones they did use and put them in the pocket chart in the order you put them in the pot when cooking the soup. Have sentence strips available for them to write the steps in making the soup.
