"Autumn" Poem: Write the following poem on sentence strips. Put the strips in a pocket chart. Have the children highlight the words with a "Ws" in them. They can match the rhyming words and find the five consonant blends, "sn," "fr," "gr" and the two "bls." They also can find the two consonant digraphs, "wh" and "th."
