Name Game song: Write the words to the song on sentence strips and place in them order in a pocket chart (please see the Music Section above for the words; note also that the words can be said as a poem). Write the names of the children mentioned in the song on index cards. The children match the names to the names in the song. After they have mastered that activity, give them blank index cards and let them write names of children in the classroom to substitute for the ones in the song.
