Peel carrots for snack: Have a carrot for each child; put the carrots in a basket with a couple of carrot peelers. The children get a carrot, wash and peel it and put it into a different basket. When everyone has had a turn, pull 3-4 children together at a time to cut the carrots. Have a cutting board and a blunt-tipped, sharp knife. Assist each child in cutting the carrots into medallions.
