Texture-match game: Use a variety of items; like sandpaper, silk, corrugated paper, laminating film, and "knobby" fabric. Cut each item in half. Glue one of each of the items, making a set, on a large cardboard box. Glue the second set onto individual index cards. The children feel the card and match it to its companion on the cardboard box.
