Moving Things: Use an electrical fan, a hand fan, straws, and a variety of items like a rock, balloon, doll, ball, pencil, feather, leaf, block, penny, apple, and cotton ball. Predict what item will move using each implement. Have the children observe the fan, then try to move the item with a hand held fan, then blow the item through a straw to see which of their predictions were correct.
