"Winter Sounds" Poem: Put the poem below on sentence strips. Have the children find the "wind descriptive words" and then, make the sound. Ask the children how they would make the sound that would go with "Blow." Shriek? Scold? Cry? Have index cards available for the children to make new wind words to put in the chart.
